My up-cycled donated-to-the-Cazza-hoard Lamp. As something I like to do (taking old things and making them into something I can and would use), this was a perfect little private-project! Inspired by the likes of Tim Burton-Beetlejuice and Dr Seuss-The Cat In The Hat and other silly Wizzle-Wazzles (perhaps a teeny bit of ‘Lazy Town’ #kiddiesshow) :D (please feel free to like and share, please don’t steal my idea <3)

Let me tell you the story of Jackhammer Jack,
His eyes were dark and his coat long and black,
Now Jack’s long black coat had lots of deep pockets,
With money and keys and an old pack of Lockets,
But in one secret pocket round at the back,
He there kept his Jackhammer, did Jackhammer Jack.
Now the thing to remember about Jackhammer Jack,
Although he was mad his mind had not cracked,
So when it was dark the streets he would roam,
Now that the honest and good had gone home,
It was only the tramps and wasters on smack,
Who went for a walk with Jackhammer Jack.
Now to go for a stroll with Jackhammer Jack,
Was rather unwise as you’d never come back,
Sometimes he’d lay in wait in the dark,
At the railway yard, in the old carriage park,
One hand on his hammer, in the other a sack,
He’d wait for his victims would Jackhammer Jack.
One cold winter’s evening lurked Jackhammer Jack,
Spying a hooker and pervert, Jack drew his coat back,
The perv gave the money, she opened her gash,
So out came Jack’s hammer, quick as a flash,
The pervert’s vision went suddenly black,
The sights he had paid for obscured by Jack’s sack.
The hooker looked up at Jackhammer Jack,
The hammer came down to start the attack,
Into the perverts face it crashed,
Again and again, his nose, his teeth, his eyes it smashed,
Again and again the hammer flew back,
One thing on Jack’s mind – ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK.
Killed by the hand of Jackhammer Jack,
The pervert went limp and bled through the sack,
Now it was her turn the hooker did cry,
Her screams were muffled as a train clattered by,
Up went the hammer and down came the sack,
It was always the same with Jackhammer Jack.
Now Cracky McCracken knew Jackhammer Jack,
And Cracky McCracken was addicted to crack,
Drug addled Cracky owed our Jack some money,
Didn’t know he was a killer, so Cracky got funny,
Out came the hammer and out came the sack,
And Cracky McCracken’s head cracked back.
“Now listen to me” screamed Jackhammer Jack,
“I’m Jackhammer Jack, give my money back!”
Had he a million it wouldn’t have mattered,
Because Cracky’s brains were already splattered,
All over the floor and all down his back,
And all over the shoes of Jackhammer Jack.
And so goes the story of Jackhammer Jack,
With his eyes so dark and his coat long and black,
Please don’t be too harsh, he’s not a bad lad,
His victims are scumbags and poor Jack is mad,
But if you go out on your own at night,
If you stray too far from the bright lights,
If you hear something, please don’t look back,
For all you know it could be Jackhammer Jack…
